Voco Southampton By Ihg Hotel

Excellent place with excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a comfortable bar area. On my first stay, the staff helped me find my lost bracelet. I highly recommend it and will be back for Christmas!

the rooms turned out to be airy and newly renovated with nice views and grab bag breakfast and a comfortable bed. we had nice hot and lovely breakfast with an espresso and fresh bakery products and soya milk.

The units are wonderful, bright. It offers brilliant and phenomenal location just off shops, Southampton, the airport. Overall fab food, plus there is Dancing Man Brewery close by. Recommend this hotel, nothing too much trouble - we felt very special.

This hotel cost me £140 for one night. It is without doubt the worst value for money in Central Southampton. Expect disinterested staff, stained, chipped and faded furniture and restaurant and service more akin to the Ibis or Premier Inn - in fact go and stay in one of them because they're a bit better and half the price.

We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was well serviced, had fantastic location to the football stadium.

I was offered a sensational breakfast at 9.15am.

The view from the hotel was good and the lesisure facilites were excellent. Also the food was also good.

The bed wasn't very comfortable

Very good position for the Ocean Terminal.

Disappointing that Holiday Inn Southampton now charges £7 for parking. However. when asked for this fee we explained that when booking with Booked.net in January 2011 it was stated that parking was free, the fee was waived. May think again about booking this hotel next year.

The room was clean, but check-in took far too long due to poor staff management.

The location right on the front of Southampton water,close to the Isle of White ferry, was a perfect site for those that like a good night sleep but within 5 mins to the heart of the old town & the clubs/pubs. The girls on reception were very smart, friendly & efficient especially Michelle. The rooms we had 503 & 504 were perfect, clean & plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious, everything you would want. The restaurant was bright & airy & very clean. No complaints at all, would go back and recommend.

Not the fault of the hotel, but I forgot to take note of the directions on their website, we followed our satnav & ended up in dockland. Rang & spoke to Michelle who put us right. Do please print the direction page so you have it with you.

Fantastic hotel, nice staff, good service, could not fault it.

nice view but could use improvement

The harbor view from the room was beautiful and quite relaxing. The location was convenient.

The overall experience did not fully meet my expectations.

Location was perfect for sight seeing, shopping and the sea. Also stay & park for cruise's.
